I don't know if I overdosed on gaming or not yesterday, but even my dice are tired. (I did in fact do a little shopping afterward, so that may have added to the exhaustion)
I got in my 2 (makeup) weekly games of Mordheim yesterday and one very large 40k battle with a good friend I haven't seen in a while. We wound up doing a 2 v 2 battle since the store was so crowded. It was Grey Knights & Space Wolves vs. Eldar and (my) Tyranids. Noah wound up having to leave at the end of turn 4, but he had managed to dislodge the Imperial forces from their (C&C) objective, whereas I had about 16 Stealerbugs piled atop ours. I had another nearly-full brood holding the hill after a failed charge from the Blood Claws (go venomthrope!!) It was still anyone's fight, since there was a Stormraven full of Paladins on it's way to our own objective.
A journey through Craftworld Iybraesil. My blog of general geekyness of Warhammer 40k and other gaming hobbies.

Not Much to Report Lately.
I've been in a bit of a funk lately. I did get out to see Green Lantern with a new/old friend this past weekend. I approve! The new job and an upcoming Saturday that promises reunion with old friends and geekery to the limit should have me in a much better mood shortly. I apologize to the one or two of you who actually keep up with my blog. ;)
In the meantime, PHOTOS! These are from the tournament just last month. Enjoy!

Where's the Farseer Been?
I apologize for the lack of content on my blog lately. I have been working on a few things that aren't necessarily blogworthy. One of which is trying to get InstantMold to do what I ask it to. I've been trying to make a two part mold and my casting medium isn't exactly co-operating. And what is that I'm asking of it? Wagon wheels. I'm making extra wagons to leave at the game store because the Bordertown Burning campaign seems to like putting them in missions all over the place. Secondly I've been trying to get my apt cleaned up because this is my last day of being unemployed. Woohoo! Thirdly I've been trying to finalize my 40k Campaign Packet. I've been in the mood to run a narrative campaign again and realized there were things I had noted in there during the first run that I wanted to add / revise for the second run.
So that's what I've been up to. I have more stories coming, but my dismay at the implications of the Sister's Codex being a White Dwarf article(s) has taken the wind out of my sails, especially with my painting of the Sisters. I'm really hoping (probably in vain) that it's just a preview of what's coming later this Fall. We shall see. In the mean time, I'll continue to write and there are plenty of other things to paint...

Fiction - Merchant Adventures (part 1)
Annabelle Evarion trudged up the path towards the little village she’d heard about over a game of cards. The village wasn’t well known but what she’d heard was that therein lived a simple wainwright that built the sturdiest wagons within 500 leagues. She’d spent the last of her inheritance here in a grand investment plan. She had to get rich, or she’d be in trouble, especially if her father found out that she’d taken her inheritance before he was actually in the grave.
